MicroStrategy Bought Another 3,000 Bitcoin

MicroStrategy announced that it purchased approximately 3,000 Bitcoin for about $155.4 million between February 15 and February 25, 2024, on behalf of MicroStrategy and its affiliated companies.

In a statement by MicroStrategy, it was said that “the average price per Bitcoin was approximately $51,813, including fees and expenses. Bitcoin purchases were made using revenues from the sale and issuance of shares under the Sales Agreement and Excess Cash as stated in the annual reports for 2023.”

As of February 25, 2024, MicroStrategy and its affiliated companies own a total of approximately 193,000 Bitcoins. The total purchase price of these Bitcoins is approximately $6.09 billion, and the average purchase price per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses, is approximately $31,544.”
